The concept behind E-Avenue started out of necessity

A necessity to change the way people move around and in/out of the city with the ease of an electric scooter. A necessity to provide a more convenient yet clean and eco-friendly means of transportation. Lithium ion batteries are the new oil. The urban mobility landscape is changing rapidly towards electric scooters and bikes.

New legislation in France and the UK will ban the production of new petrol-fueled engines from 2040. Norway will completely ban petrol-powered cars by 2025. Traffic congestion, tube strikes, signal failures, and train delays have become the daily routine.

If you commute by car, have you are even wondered just how much of your life you spend sitting in traffic? The answer is 127 hours a year. That is equivalent to five days a year stuck in traffic according to the TomTom Traffic Index. And it gets worse. Just sitting in traffic costs drivers £968 a year on average, with Londoners paying an eye-watering £1,911 according to study done AutoExpress in 2017. We felt there had to be a better way to handle trips less than 10 miles.

Using modern technologies, our goal is put in the hands of the public a vehicle that is sustainable, convenient and efficient, intuitive to use, and fun to ride. We want to make short trips easier and greener. We want to encourage people to shift their perception of travel, and educate them to the new possibilities and the practicality and efficiency of micro-mobility.
